Organic Farm & Olive Oil Tasting

A Journey Into Corfu's Olive Oil Heritage

During this immersive olive oil and farm experience, guests can stroll through centuries-old olive groves, explore the vegetable gardens and learn how a sustainable organic farm operates. The guided visit includes the modern olive mill, the storage rooms and a tasting session inside the traditional press house.

The Kavvadias family history dates to the late 18th century, when a small olive press stood among the groves. In the mid-20th century, Dr. Kavvadias transformed the estate into a sanctuary of calm, now home to the award-winning Dr. Kavvadias olive oil since 2012.

Traditional Olive Soap Craftmanship

A Living Monument of Corfiot Craftsmanship

The Patounis family has been producing pure, traditional olive-oil soap since 1891 using ancestral recipes passed through five generations. Their handmade soaps use only natural ingredients such as olive oil, sea salt and lye.

Located in Corfu Town, the historic workshop has been declared a monument of industrial heritage and is proudly included in Greece's National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage. This guided visit offers insight into a time-honored craft still practiced entirely by hand.
